Miami, USA-Podcasting has become relatively popular and is growing even in countries like China. The revenue has yet to truly appear but the revenue model that is in the lead is that of NPR.org, sponsorship.

It should be easier to get similar sponsorships in the Caribbean than larger markets like the USA, mainly because it is easier to reach the decision makers. Podcasting is a great way to expose our various cultures and the two best candidates for podcasting are sports and current events. Where are the companies that are podcasting about the local football leagues, podcasting about current events or signing deals to podcast local news programs?

I have not met any podcasters from the Caribbean but maybe that is because I have not found a central place to search for them. We need a Caribbean Podcast aggregator that makes it easy to find and subscribe to podcasts.

But here is the starter pile I found.
