A Lobbying group for technology in the Caribbean?

Being based in the US I constantly here about lobbyists and the companies they work for. Recently the cable industry had their lobbyists hard at work because the FCC was considering some changes.  When are we going to see lobbying groups in the Caribbean focused on communicating the views of the tech industry? I would certainly join one and pay a yearly membership fee in order to finally have a voice.

Doctors, teachers and so many others have their organizations to get their views across and we all know that politicians don’t pay you any mind unless there are lots of people behind it (or you have lots of money). I envision a Caricom-wide lobbying group with sub-groups within each country.There are many qualified people with high level government contacts who could be effective spokespersons for this lobby.Who is with me on wanting to see this come to fruition?
