Digicel is known as a cutting-edge company so it was no surprise to me when they launched custom ring back tones (tones people hear when they dial your number), calling them ‘InTunes’.
I tested the system last week to see how easy it was and how well it worked. I actually found the InTunes site via an ad on Facebook but I find it very odd that Digicel did not create an easier url for people to be able to type in directly. The logical one would be intunes.digicel.com but the actual url is http://digicelintunes.digicelgroup.com:8081/crbtuser/

Not really cutting-edge when even LIME been doing “Bling Back” tunes for the last year and a half.
I tried it and had to deactivate after a day. It is not great for professionals. The welcome message sounds like a promotion that ALL my clients complain about. With AT&T they are smoother on the entry “kindly hold while we locate your party”, digicel on the other hand was, “YOU ARE LISTENING TO INTUNES BY DIGICEL!!!!” Get the point?
can’t stand hearing ‘em … keep thinking what’s the point of annoying people who’re trying to call you
