The Next Jamaica Pegasus Tweet up is this Friday, February 11th, 2011 dubbed “Tweetheart” and yes if you’re reading this with your mouth wide open because you forgot to sign up. It’s sorta late. The First 200 invites went within minutes and the new issues of 50 invites each are all gone. For those of you who attended the last one check the video, you may be in it.
Here’s What to Expect and a Few Tips for Making it Memorable and Meaningful by Jamaica Pegasus
What to expect at the tweetup?
Expect to meet and interact with fellow tweeps from twitter in a very social environment. Expect to make new friends and new business connections while enjoying the best Jamaica Pegasus has to offer. Expect some delicious food samplers and beverages throughout the evening. Expect some premium alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Is there a dress code?
Yes we do have a dress code for this event: Casually Elegant. We say dress to impress because you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Keep in mind the impression you want to leave with your fellow tweeps and potential business connections. We also have a “wear white” for valentines and we encourage attendees to participate (totally optional).
Do I need to bring my ticket? or an ID?
While the tickets are not necessary we encourage you to print them and bring them along to help speed up the registration check-in process. What is required is a valid ID (government/company issued). You must have a valid ID to enter the event and the name must match the registration on record.
TIPS:
Arrive on time. (registration check-in process will take a few minutes)
Bring business cards (always good to have at these events)
Bring a camera (share the moment(s) and the evening with others)
