Jamaica’s Justice Minister announced today that she is now Computer Literate and is welcoming new Likes on her new Facebook Profile. In a rather long Facebook Status Message, she apologised for embarrassing the nation while on the witness stand during the Manatt Enquiry just over a week ago.
The Justice Minister explained, that she knows that having had 20 secretaries in 3 years looks like alot, but that we mustn’t forget the backlog of badmen that remain to be extradited, plus working on a strategy to clear the country’s court case backlog is no laughing matter.
She went on to say, that she has learnt alot from the experience, took a crash course in email communications from her 7 year old granddaughter last weekend, and can now write, send, attach documents by email on Facebook. To prove it she proudly published her brand new email address ……jamaicanjustice@facebook.com/jamaicasjusticeminister and said she will personally answer all emails on the go, once she finds a way to download the Facebook app on her hot pink Motorola Razr.
