15…count them 15 startups to date has entered the BETAPitch Startup Contest. There is still time to enter. Until Nov 17th. The current startups in the lineup range from Mobile and Web Apps, Education solutions, Social Media, Online Advertising. What’s your Big Idea?
Why Pitch?

Start the brainstorming. Get to work on your prototypes.Get your Pitch tight!       Here are the details.

When

The BETAPitch Startup Contest will be held at 2:30pm on the day of Caribbean BETA. Please see agenda. All attendees must be at conference from the start at 9am.

How to Enter

Email ingrid @ connectimass.com. Send an email with headline: Caribbean BETA. In the body of the email – two short paragraphs telling us the name of the idea, an outline, the names of the person/persons involved. Entries close on November 17th, 2011.

Conference Registration

All startup founders/teams must be registered online and will be given early bird special rates of $2,000. Can be paid at the door.

 

Rules

Your must be under 2 years old.

Don’t yet have a startup, but have an idea or prototype? That’s great! We accept those too.

Must be led by or co-founded by a Caribbean National no matter where they are in the world.

 

Presentation Format

– 3- 5 min presentation ( Yes we are strict with the time).

– All startups must present using Presentation Slides (PPT) or video demos.

– All presentations must be placed on a Flash Drive for easy set up and pull down on conference day. Additional props are accepted.

– All presentations must have the Caribbean BETA logo.

– 1 printed copy of the presentation. ( 3 or so slides per page)

– Be prepared for Judges questions.

We’ll be using the G/Score format to judge your startup idea.
