Taking a closer look at the new Facebook policy

The policy is considerably shorter than the current version, and much easier to read. With the new policy, an interactive walk-through, Privacy Basics, has been published to guide users on how to change their policy settings, which ultimately may make them feel more in control of their information on the platform.

However, though arguably evident for sometime now, the new policy highlights the changing construct of user privacy.
