Why I Do this

All I want to do is to continue to chronicle and showcase the way we in the Caribbean are doing Technology.  To examine and share what I find in terms of how we’re preparing and positioning ourselves for Entrepreneurial, Innovation and Economic success in this Digital Age. I started with a focus on startups of all kinds and the sites and products they were creating and then moved into other areas.

At the end of the day I am following my curiosity and authentic interests as  Caribbean person and global citizen living in this Digital Age and take people on that journey, daily. I intend to continue to produce content and events type of work I am proud of and is of value to others.

Beyond that the grander intention is to amplify who we are and what we’re doing, disrupt how people perceive the Caribbean and how we present our Caribbean Tech Stories on our blog and at our events and hopefully inspire people to do great things with tech.

The Grand Opportunity

We are living in a delicious time with limitless possibilities for us in our emerging #DigitalCaribbean and the Global Digital Economy – and we hope to move you to take full advantage of it all.

We’ve never lived in a greater time like this. Being able to connect with people locally, regionally and globally via the internet and using technologies like the mobile phone if a gift. There has never been a more level playing field, where anyone can take advantage of the possibilities of learning new skills, launching projects and businesses faster and cheaper, make money online, build audiences and influence to change the status quo and so much more. With technology we can change for the better, entire communities and making industries more positively impactful, profitable and relevant.

We have limitless possibilities for our emerging #DigitalCaribbean and I hope you are as excited as I am.

I’m totally committed to SiliconCaribe being the leader in Caribbean Tech News and Events that provides information and resources that informs, inspires and entertains you. It started out as  CaribbeanTechNews.com back in 2005, then continued as SiliconCaribe.com from 2007.

Thank you for sticking with us. The best is yet to come!
