In Working With me
I like to align myself with brands and companies who are looking for innovative partnerships that are mutually beneficial. As an influencer with integrity and someone who’s knowledgeable in reaching people effectively and strategically, I’m pretty sure we can collaborate and do something awesome.
I lead the production and programming of Caribbean tech events from meetups and competitions to workshops and conferences. SiliconCaribe is the leading producer of Caribbean technology events and have produced the most Caribbean Tech Events for Entrepreneurs, Digital Media, Women, Caribbean Businesses and the Caribbean Tech Industry and Diaspora that anyone else. We’ve done over 80 Meetups+ Pitch events, 3 Caribbean Tech Conferences, 3 Caribbean wide Hackathons, a few Mobile App Competitions, Online Twitter Chats and Startup Weekends. We launched Caribbean Bloggers Week in 2016 and we will stage the first Caribbean Women in Tech coming up in September 2017.
As a Digital Strategist with over 10 years of experience, I have helped over 50 brands figure out how to maximise their online presence, and how to use digital tools strategically. I’m both social and technical, from marketing to branding to WordPress Blog set up and optimization and SEO (search engine optimization). I’ve presented and spoken at a variety of meetups, conferences, working groups, schools and colleges, including: Black Tech Week, AgriHack Caribbean ( Kenya) Small Business Association of Jamaica Conference and a number of NonProfit Organisations among others.
Workshops I teach include:
