Ingrid is the Founder + Chief Blogger at SiliconCaribe. Dubbed the Caribbean Tech Queen by regional media, Ingrid is an award-winning entrepreneur and pioneer in the Caribbean Tech Industry and Startup Ecosystem.
Over the past 10 years, she’s built her influence through leadership in the space, by writing over 2,000 articles; being a leading producer of Caribbean Technology events; hearing and judging over 1,000 startup pitches from 10 Caribbean countries; plus speaking on Caribbean tech innovation and entrepreneurship across 4 continents.
She is very passionate about technology, and how the Caribbean is leveraging it all, for success in the Global Digital Economy.

I lead the production and programming of our Caribbean tech events from meetups and competitions to workshops and conferences. I’ve listened to just over 1000 pitches from Caribbean tech entrepreneurs from 10 Caribbean countries. The competitions have been hackathons, startup pitch contests, mobile app competitions and innovation challenges.

I’ve been blogging for 12 years, been a Digital Strategist for  over 10 years and have helped over 50 brands figure out how to maximise their online presence, and how to use digital tools strategically. I’m both social and technical, from marketing to branding to WordPress Blog set up and optimization and SEO (search engine optimization).

I’ve presented and spoken at a variety of meetups, conferences, working groups, schools and colleges on topics around Caribbean Technology Trends, Innovation, Startups and Tech Entrepreneurship, including: Black Tech Week, AgriHack Caribbean ( Kenya) Small Business Association of Jamaica Conference and a number of NonProfit Organisations among others.
