(New to Me) I can’t remember where I saw Jamdowndigital but it caught my eye. I’ve been so tired of seeing music and entertainment sites that throw free music videos and free songs your way with no true road to sustainability i.e..profitability. Hence it was damn refreshing to see someone offering a service and charging for it.The well thought and designed site is a contender and yes a competitor to PuKSHOP.

How it Works ( as seen on their website)
Jamdown Digital offers a digital audio and video service dedicated to fans seeking Caribbean audio and video content. We offer subscription and non-subscription service that allows consumers to own, not rent their music and videos. Our music is sold in the popular mp3 format – the only digital music format that is compatible with all digital music devices, and our videos are sold in mpeg4 format also compatible with all video players. Our songs and videos play flawlessly on any digital media player designed to play audio and or video, including the iPod ®.

Jamdown Digital focuses on selling music and videos beyond the commercial mainstream in all genres of reggae (i.e. Dancehall, Lover Rock, Conscious, Soca, etc.) Top reggae artists include familiar names such as Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Spragga Benz, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Mr. Vegas, Vybze Kartel, Red Rat, Tanya Stehpens, Tanto Metro & Devonte and many others.
