Kingston BETA - Where the Big Tech Ideas Are Seen and Heard

Kingston BETA is the event Where Technology means Business. It’s the bimonthly event where the Caribbean Tech Community comes to connect, show off their best ideas, learn and see what’s coming next. So With our sponsors: Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, JIIC, the next Kingston BETA will be on Thursday, July 28th, 2011, 6:30pm at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Jamaica. It’s still free, but please join the community list of members here.

At the centre of it, we’ll be having a “How I did it Session” we called Kingston BETA Pitch segment and we’ve confirmed 5 Caribbean Startups who will a show and tell ( Pitch) their new web and tech products, and share their stories on how they did it and where they are headed. You get to listen and then pick their brains with questions.

What is KINGSTON BETA?
Kingston BETA is the hub of the Caribbean Tech Startup Scene and we’re on a mission to inspire, educate and empower individuals – who want to become tech entrepreneurs and who already are – people who use the web and technology to start businesses, create jobs and spawn innovation in their country and our region.

This is why the Event brings together startups, entrepreneurs, investors, techies, webbies, bloggers, tweeters, programmers, designers, marketers and business executives – the movers and shakers in the Caribbean Tech Community.

Kingston BETA is a event staged by ConnectiMass,a company on a mission to bridge the gap between the information haves and have nots, the opportunity haves and have nots- to help the Caribbean become a region of innovation nations. It’s led by me, Ingrid Riley and supported by a community of Jamaica and Caribbean people and host of influential global network of success tech entrepreneurs and friends. Welcome to the movement!
