EVENTS ALERT: Kingston BETA is on Thursday, Hustle Summit on Saturday in Jamaica

March gets a heady and strong kick off in Jamaica’s Tech Startup Scene with two seminal events that people must attend. The first is ours, the pioneering Kingston BETA event that celebrates 10 years in the business of teaching, inspiring and networking Jamaica’s Tech Community of aspiring and current tech entrepreneurs, developers, high school and college students, young professionals and digital creatives, investors, corporate executives and social media stars .

The first in the year long celebratory event series, will be this Thursday March 2nd, 2017. 6:30 p.m.-9:30pm, at JAMPROHQ in New Kingston. JMD$500.

And then on Saturday is Hustle Summit by the dudes who founded NextGenCreators. It’s an entrepreneurial one day summit targeted to high school and college students primarily. Next Gen Creators (commonly known as Next Gen) is a non-profit organization focusing on helping youth explore entrepreneurship and technology through strategic events and programs. The Hustle Summit project is headed by the organization’s Co-Founder, Ja’dan Johnson, who conceptualized the Summit as a means to celebrate the innate entrepreneurial spirit of most Jamaicans. He shared  “Our two major objectives with the Hustle Summit was to help young entrepreneurs learn and connect with the right people.
