Ahh Mark. You were one of the smartest and most generous people I knew. I hope you knew how special you were to me, to us…just special.

Mark Allan was a partner in Net Vision Interactive, one of Jamaica’s premier web development and multi-media companies in the 1990s. He and his partner Marc Edwards at the height of the dotcom boom, were recruited and scooped up by a Hong Kong-based company.

Mark Allan was living, programming and being a club disc jockey between Hong Kong and Vietnam for the past 20 years and is the Ceo of One Studio and OnezMedia.

He was a speaker at the very first Kingston Beta ( by Skype Video) held in January 2007. He was a Jamaican Tech Pioneer before it was sexy.
When Susan Lee Quee and I published iGuide Jamaica, which was the Caribbean’s First Internet GUide – We made sure to feature him and his then business partner Marc Edwards, because they were ahead of their time and the world deserved to know that exceptional talent was very much in Jamaica.

Recently, he rebuilt my Cannabis Marketing Agency website Digital420 for free, because “wanted me to be successful.”

Mark, You were a gifted thinker, developer, problem solver. Always ready to give. Thank YOU. You will be missed. Rest Well.
