The Caribbean’s innovation economy is bigger than its geography. Caribbean Tech Week is about connecting its people, ideas, capital, and opportunities to create real business outcomes.

The Caribbean has never lacked talent, creativity, ambition, or ideas. From Kingston to Port of Spain, Miami to New York, Toronto to London, Caribbean founders, creators, technologists, investors and businesses are building companies, shaping industries and creating new opportunities.

Our innovation economy has never been confined to our borders. So why should our connections be?

After nearly two decades of bringing Caribbean innovators, entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders together, one thing has become clear to me: our greatest opportunity isn’t simply to produce more talent or ideas.

It’s to connect more intentionally what we already have.

Across the Caribbean and its global diaspora, there is an extraordinary concentration of talent, expertise, relationships, capital and opportunity. But too much of it remains disconnected, fragmented by geography, language, markets, and networks.

Imagine what becomes possible when more founders meet the right investors. When companies discover partners in new markets. When innovators find collaborators across borders. When conversations lead to contracts, partnerships, investment, and businesses that scale internationally.

That’s the opportunity. And that’s a big part of why we’re building Caribbean Tech Week.

One Week. Many Cities. One Connected Digital Caribbean.

From February 28 to March 6, 2027, Caribbean Tech Week will bring together founders, creators, companies, investors, governments and communities across the Caribbean and its diaspora through a coordinated week of events, conversations, experiences and business connections.

Some gatherings will be large. Others will be intimate. Some will happen in person, others virtually. But they will all be connected by one ambition: to make the global Caribbean innovation economy more visible, more connected and more commercially active.

Caribbean Tech Week is our annual opportunity to raise our hands collectively and say:

This is who we are. This is where we are. This is what we’re building, creating and investing in. And we’re ready to collaborate, partner, and do business with each other and the world on a whole different level.

But visibility alone is not the goal.

Connections Must Lead Somewhere

We are building Caribbean Tech Week around intentional outcomes.

Market Access. Helping Caribbean companies discover customers, partnerships, and opportunities beyond their home markets.

Strategic Connections. Connecting founders, investors, business leaders, governments and institutions who can create value together.

Brand Leadership. Giving Caribbean innovators and organisations a bigger platform to showcase their work, expertise and ambitions to regional and global audiences.

Commercial Intelligence. Making it easier to discover emerging companies, investment opportunities, industry trends and the people shaping what’s next.

The measure of success isn’t just how many events we host or how many people attend. It’s what happens because those people connected.

The partnerships formed. The markets entered. The investments sparked. The businesses created and grown. The opportunities unlocked.

Building on Our Terms

Caribbean Tech Week is ultimately about something bigger than a week of events.

It’s about how we see ourselves, how we connect with each other and how we position the global Caribbean innovation economy within the wider world.

We don’t have to wait for someone else to connect the dots for us. We can build the relationships, platforms and opportunities ourselves.

SiliconCaribe exists to make this economy visible, connected and impossible to ignore. Caribbean Tech Week is one of the ways we’re making that mission tangible.

Because Caribbean innovation has no borders.

And when we intentionally connect our people, ideas, expertise, capital, and opportunities, there is no telling how far we can go.
