Jamaica ranks among the top 5 countries in Latin America with the highest Uber user ratings.

Jamaicans are known for being friendly and welcoming, and it seems that attitude has been recognized by the Uber app’s lessor partners. The country stood out as one of the top 5 countries with the highest-rated users by lessor partners in Latin America; it also placed second among countries in the Caribbean.  Jamaican Uber Drivers Must be doing something right!

“Uber’s rating system is essential to maintaining a high level of service and improving the overall experience for both lessor partners and users,” said Uber. 

In its release, Uber then went on to give a 5 step strategy on how Jamaican Uber Drivers can get better User Ratings. This includes being punctual, being respectful, keeping the vehicle clean and, being precise about location pickups.

Uber launched in 2010 to solve a simple problem: How to get a lease with just the touch of a button? 15 million leases later, the app continues to develop products that help people get to where they want to be. By transforming the way in which people, food, and other items move around the city, Uber opens a new world of opportunities.

The app is currently available in over 10,000 cities worldwide in 76  countries on six continents.

Uber has been available in Jamaica since June, 2021 in Kingston, St. Andrew and St. Catherine areas.
